The new single from Cassandra Maze pulls you into intimate surroundings and doesn’t let you go until the last note rings out.

One On One
00:00 / 03:33

The warm, earthy production mixed with Cassandra’s buttery voice betrays the fact that this song was actually written about a situationship. A situationship that, surprise surprise, never panned out.

Cassandra wrote, recorded, produced and mixed One On One in her home studio, a little blue shed tucked between Canadian spruces and pines. Cassandra is proud to say that she is now making music on her own terms, paying close attention to her inner artistic compass.

It’s this delicately stripped-down organic sound that she’s been eager to share with the world. One On One is just the first of many.

One On One, live at Park Sound Studios, reveals an even more intimate side to Cassandra’s artistry. There is beauty in simplicity, and oftentimes a good song needs nothing more than three instruments and a voice to tell the story. The live video features Victor Balconi on bass and Brennan Buglioni on drums, with engineering by Andy Schichter and mixing by Cassandra Maze. The video was directed by Sina Moazeni of Helz Pictures.
